Human–AI Collaboration: The Workplace of 2035

INTRODUCTION

Artificial intelligence is becoming good at many human jobs, providing services such as language translation and customer service, and its growth is improving rapidly. But at the same time, it raises more reasonable fears that AI will ultimately replace human jobs. That's not inevitable or even the most likely outcome because the tool we create gives a better outcome and benefit for the employees to bring workplace advancement with the help of humans, rather than being controlled by all the technology.

 UNDERSTANDING HUMAN - AI COLLABORATION

Today, many companies have started to use AI automate processes in different companies, but those who deploy it mainly to displace the employees will see only short-term productivity gains. Most of the companies are trying to bring an innovative generation where both human touch and AI machines work together, which will bring a great performance improvement if we implement these roles in the company.

Through collaborative intelligence human and AI actively enhance each other's complementary strengths by developing: The leadership, Teamwork, Creativity and social skills of the former and the speed, scalability and quantitative capabilities of the latter. To take full advantage, the company should understand how humans can use an efficiently augmented machine, how machines can be handled by humans to do the best and how to redesign the business with the help of humans.

HUMAN ASSISTING MACHINES

Humans need to perform 3 crucial roles where they need to control the technology that takes place in the companies. The AI should replace any humans with the technology; we need to bring the collaboration between both AI and humans in the upcoming future world, and for example, no Robots should replace any humans

TRAINING

Machine learning algorithms must be taught how to perform the work they are designed to do. There should be proper training for the human handlers or for designing the technology. In today's generation, there have been designs that can be easily done by AI, but at the same time, when it's in the workplace, the same design for data cannot be trusted all the time to feed the working data, which causes a huge problem in industrial so in addition, AI systems should be trained properly to interact with humans. Then the decision-making can be handled only by humans, not an AI, so no sector can think to replace AI with humans.

EXPLAINING

As AI increasingly reach conclusion throughout the opaque processes, which is called as Black - box problem, they require human experts in the field to explain their behavior non experts users. These explainers are particularly important in industries such as law and medicine, where practitioners need to understand AI-weighted input

SUSTAINING

In common with the upcoming generation, all the companies should get sustainable on the developing the AI technology with the help of humans to have the right knowledge and development in bringing a greater change without replacing any humans with the help of proper decision making and upskill the employees to control the tools that are being designed for the future world.

EVOLUTION OF THE WORKPLACE TOWARDS 2035

Past Workplace

  • Manual operations

  • Human-dependent decisions

Present Workplace

  • Digital tools and partial automation

Future Workplace (2035)

  • Smart offices

  • AI assistants

  • Hybrid human-machine teams

  • Remote and virtual collaboration environments

CONCLUSION

To conclude, every workplace should collaborate with human touch AI, which can bring a greater change in the upcoming generation instead of replacing humans and also needs to be designed with the help of human-centric knowledge to bring an efficient flow through the process for building and redesigning the organization with the help of human decision-making.
