The major companies affected by this AI tool are Thomson Revtors dropped over 15% RELX. While LexisNexis fell 14% and LegalZoom hammered nearly 20%, whereas Goldman Sachs tracking US software stocks posted its worst single-day decline since the April tariff-driven selloff. The Nasdaq fell 1.4% with ripple affecting extending to IT Indian giants such as Infosys ADR, which slipped 5.5%, Wipro fell nearly 5%.





 EXPERT ANALYSIS 

Market experts described the situation as a potential turning point for the SaaS industry. Financial analysts believe that AI-driven tools could reshape traditional software services faster than expected. But employees should be aware of upskilling in digital technology to handle both human touch and AI tools. Atrophic isn't the only player in legal AI. Startup like Harvey AI valued 5 billion and Legora 1.8 billion have been developing tools for the years. So it gives a great example that AI tools like Claude can easily pull off everything.
